UNDER OUR SKIN
Northeast PA Audubon and the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalists will be sponsoring a free showing of the award-winning film UNDER OUR SKIN from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 29th at the Tusten Fire Hall in Narrowsburg, NY. This is a “must see” movie for anyone concerned about the Lyme disease epidemic. A gripping tale of microbes, medicine and money, UNDER OUR SKIN exposes the hidden story of Lyme disease, one of the most controversial and fastest growing epidemics of our time. Each year thousands go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed, told that their symptoms are “all in their head.” Following the stories of patients and physicians fighting for their lives and livelihoods, the film brings into focus a haunting picture of the health care system and a medical establishment all too willing to put profits ahead of patients.
